Com o nome dedicado a sua produção cafeeira, Ouro Verde de Minas possui uma variedade de pedras propícias para a escalada, e com muitos bodes e cabras pelo caminho. Recentemente inauguradas, as rampas para o vôo livre tem duas opções: a primeira, com um desnível de 395m, distante 1,5km do centro da cidade, sendo necessária uma caminhada de 1h 30min até a área de decolagem. A segunda, com desnível de 630m, a 12km da cidade com acesso de carro até a rampa.
Named after its great coffee production, Ouro Verde de Minas (Minas Green Gold) has got a range of mountaineering rocks with a lot of sheep and goats on the way. The ramps, recently set, offer two options: the first having a difference of 395meters level, 1.5 km. far from downtown requiring a 90-minute- walk to the jumping point. The second one having 630meters level, 12 km distant from the town with car access to the point. The hints from our local guides are to visit the waterfall on the road to Ataleia, which is an invitation for a nice bath, and, also another one on Antena Hill. It’s possible to see picturesque countryside on the way. It’s also a good chance to warm the cold nights giving the local “cachaças” a try.
